To avoid that pit, as you are playing in normal or hard. You must collect the key before the pit and go back. The locks will now open and you can get the first jump upgrade. ;)

Very, very good graphics compared to what else you could be doing with a pixel system! Good music, lousy story, but who cares? Ok controls, all that needed changing was the dragon. If I wanted to play football games, I wouldn't be playing ninja games. Also it lacked a sandbox mode. I was hoping with the simplistic design we would be able to make our own levels. Oh, and the sound effects were great!

Would it not make sense to have the use item button "use" the backpack to block the knives (as was done in the book)? I am aware this is an April fools joke, however, if you decided to make a more... serious game regarding the subject, could you possibly implement that? Thank you for considering.
